LEAGUE HISTORY ::
The League was formed in 1967 when a group of friends decided as they would seek permission from the local council to play in their area on Sundays using the councils parks and recreation grounds...Two of the original founder members Jeff Bray & Rodney Richardson are still active officers of the league to this day, another member of that first committee is Doug Haynes he also remains on the committee today... The League started their first season with 10 teams in one Division (1967) in this season (2003/04) there are 63 teams in 6 Divisions.. The League have the distinction of being the only league in Leicestershire whose Clubs have won all the County Cup Competitions in any one season....
